Health and fitness was embedded in Barbie's lifestyle from the very start. She embraces the elements of wellness as the key to achieving balance in life and projects such balance to her clients. Don't underestimate her ability to challenge. Barbie has a competitive drive she credits to growing up the only girl among four boys. She has competed in athletics and academics at the state and national level and thrives off such a challenge. Her well-rounded experience includes training in dance, martial arts, volleyball and track. In addition to training and teaching class, Barbie manages the operations of WLG. If you don’t see her smiling face on the floor, she's in the office gettin' things done! Barbie will attest to the belief that "there's an atmosphere within the space that resonates the good nature and simple attitude of the members and staff alike, and it all comes back to the same thing… the desire to be healthy inside and out, and in all areas of our lives." Barbie has a B.S. in Recreation Sport and Tourism from the University of Illinois and is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
